1 Arm & Hand Support Cushions
Developed by an Occupational Therapist. Enables a user with injured or paralysed arm or hand to hold the affected part in the ideal position for effective rehabilitation. Cushions and protects the affected area, allowing for correct positioning to be held continuously for long periods of time. Can also help reduce arm and shoulder pain. These T Rolls feature a machine washable exterior cover with two way stretch. Made from waterproof, breathable casing containing micro beads, which allow the cushion to adapt to the user’s shape. T Rolls are designed to be used by people who are unable to move independently in bed and can help to control spasticity in muscles, prevent pressure areas and deformities. They should be used whilst the person is lying on their back (supine) and can also help to reduce back pain and aid hip abduction. The use of a T Roll at night can make it easier for a carer to carry out personal care tasks in the morning due to the person’s muscles being less spastic.
