A unique concept in hoisting allows independent transfers for certain users. It is sometimes compared to the security of being lifted by a strong pair of hands. The upper body is supported by padded cups (just like hands) while the thighs are lifted by strong leg supports. As the person is lifted, the curved cups automatically adjust to the user's size and weight. Suitable for users with good upper body tone, the Body Supportmay be used independently or with assistance. Unlike conventional fabric slings it is put on fromthe front, leaving the back and seat area free for dressing and toileting. There aremany applications in and out of the home for the Body Support, providing an opportunity for improved independence for some users. Available in three sizes. 2 Multi Harness
Provides support for the user when standing, transferring from sitting to standing, or transferring into equipment such as a standing frame, prone stander, walker or even a tricycle. Can also be used in conjunction with a hoist or treadmill for walking training. Incorporates a series of adjustable connections to help ensure a safe manoeuvre. The trunk support is lined with a non-slip material. Adjustable groin straps are padded and covered in fabric which slides easily against the users clothing.
