1 Trekker Gait Trainer
Suitable for children who do not yet have the physical or cognitive skills to use a standard walker safely and independently. It can be used in an anterior or posterior position helping children to improve their general heart and lung fitness whilst encouraging them to take steps feeling safe and secure. Swivel castors can be locked to non-swivel and each are individually braked. A directional lever can be used to prevent the walker moving backwards. The two larger models (medium and large) both fold easily for transportation and storage. Height adjustable in 25mm (1”) increments. Variable resistance to control the speed of rotation of the wheels. Accessories can be mounted on the frame ‘tool free’ therefore easily removed or added to suit individual users. Medium and large versions fold easily for storage and travel.

Forearm Platform - Adjustable in both depth and height, it can rotate and move to face up or downwards. The hand grips are multi adjustable and can extend outwards for taller children as they can be adjusted to any angle. The armrest is contoured and comes with hand and wrist straps for security, to ensure a correct position is maintained. Ankle Prompts - Length adjustable, padded ankle straps maintain legs, and or feet, in abduction and prevent scissoring. Spring clips control stride length. Can be used with patients who have poor motor control, ataxia and excessive abduction.
Hip Positioner & Pad - Length adjustable straps assist with weight bearing allowing the user to concentrate on their walking motion. Removable pad provides cushioned comfort.

Trunk Support - Holds the torso at the desired angle. Height, depth, width, angle adjustable and padded for cushioned comfort. Stays open for ease of transfers and can be mounted towards the inside or outside of the handlebar. Straps adjust the fit, forward leaning and angle of the user.
Thigh Prompts -Move with the gait pattern allowing weight shifting from one leg to another and can be positioned to prevent leg scissoring. Height adjustable so can be set up to limit adduction or abduction.
