At Nottingham Rehab Supplies, we understand national and local priorities and pressures in Health and Social Care and make it our business to work with all our partners helping them to provide innovative solutions to achieve their aims.
Working Together To Meet National & Making The Best Use Of Local Resources
NRS AskSARA Self Assessment Tool
We are experienced in working with Commissioners to look at using the resources we both have in the most effective way possible to improve the health outcomes for local residents.
We aim to work with local Commissioners, the local private sector and local voluntary sector to provide integrated services, preventing people from using Health and Social Care earlier than they need to. This includes using our marketing experience to promote services available to people with lower level needs – increasing the knowledge and reputation of these services amongst the local population.
In rural areas we look at innovative ways of reaching people and work in partnership with those organisations who maybe set up to help us deliver this. This includes
our new mobile unit, which is scheduled for delivery in Autumn 2011, and working
with the third sector, developing effective marketing communications across the community.
NRS AskSARA, our comprehensive Self Assessment Tool developed with the Disabled Living Foundation, is used with many of our ICES customers to increase the uptake of self assessment and to provide reliable help and advice to customers.
Many of our Driver Technicians are trained as Trusted Assessors – this enables them to provide a “one stop solution” for minor adaptations within the home.
We are well established as the main provider of Stand Alone Telecare equipment. Telecare can help to reduce the cost of care packages or to reduce the burden on informal carers. It also has an important role to play in supporting Reablement Services.
