The NRS Stand and Turn and the Atlas and Saturn Transfers Discs are easily adjusted to suit people of differing heights and can be used with larger people of up to 30 stone (190kg).
Turning Discs
(Pages 114-115) help a person swivel around and then get up from a car seat, wheelchair or other seated surface. They can be used independently or with assistance (often in conjunction with a handling belt). Flooring turning aids can be used to position feet correctly when assisting a person to stand and turn.
Emergency Lifting and Evacuation Aids
(Pages 146-147) are safe and simple to use in most emergency situations, such as after a fall or in a fire. They can help to save lives and reduce the risk of injury by moving people to safety quickly, easily and comfortably, whether at home or in a healthcare setting.
