The Birdie Compact and new Birdie 170Mobile Hoists can be easily folded and unfolded without the need for tools. Additionally, the hoists can be dismantled into two parts if needed – also without tools. A high boommaximises space for the client and gives an ergonomic lift and transfer as the client can be easily rotated in the hoist. This design reduces the risk of injury as the client’s knees will not be close to the actuator. These electric hoists featuremanual leg spread, a two point spreader bar, emergency stop, emergency lowering and detachable battery for ease of charging. Birdie Hoists take upminimal space when stored and are easy to push and transport – ideal for both domestic and institutional environments. If required, themast and boomcan be easily detached fromthe base. The new Birdie 170 is a larger version and features a safe working load of 170kg (27st). Dimensions shown in table below.

Compact and manoeuvrable, the Reliant 350 Stand Assist provides assistance for standing or seated transfers. The electrically operated lift boom has three attachment points for a range of height settings. Manual lever allows base legs to be adjusted for close access to chairs and wheelchairs. Features non-slip footplate and height adjustable knee guard for greater compatibility and security during transfer. Safety features include emergency stop button and anti-entrapment device.
