Expense Reduction Analysts celebrates its franchisees’ achievements with a night of glamour

INVESTMENT LEVEL: £39,950

for their help and support. I couldn’t have done it without them!”

I

n July, no fewer than 114 Expense Reduction Analysts (ERA) franchise partners, group offi ce staff and distinguished guests gathered at The St Johns Hotel in Solihull for

the company’s annual conference and award ceremony. The one-day event had a non-stop schedule packed with expert speakers, educational seminars, and, of course, plenty of networking. ERA prides itself on having an incredibly transparent and collaborative relationship with its franchise partners. As a testament to this, the day’s opening address, entitled ‘State of the Nation’, was an opportunity to round up the recently closed fi nancial year in terms of activity and performance. The highlight was an announcement worthy of celebration in its own right: the network was up 10 per cent in revenue as a collective year on year. Despite any economic fears, the strength, effi ciency and innovation of the business continue to cement its success. The end of the day’s events were marked by the fi rst half of ERA’s annual awards ceremony.

In a tied vote by fellow consultants, Stuart Lanyon and Andrew Kinnear were both awarded the prestigious Consultant’s Consultant of the Year award for their contribution to the network as experts, valued colleagues and friends. The impressive High Earner award celebrates the fi nancial success and business acumen of a single consultant. Sean Bingham topped the charts with a staggering £340,189. Second and third places went to Keith Copestake (£257,240)

and Steve Rhodes (£249,562) respectively. All three have achieved outstanding results for the year.

Consulting Practice of the Year is

awarded to a multi-license business, which is any ERA franchise business with more than one stakeholder but only one franchise partner. This award was presented to Pritesh Patel, who, along with his wife, Harsha, continues to expand and diversify his business. Employing four staff , they are continually improving profi t margins and achieving great results for their clients, while being supportive members of the network. Their 2015-2016 fi gure was an impressive £352,370. Pritesh said: “I am absolutely delighted by this. Being successful is a great reward for all our hard work. It was hard to know how this was all going to work out when I joined ERA; you are obviously nervous at the beginning, but I couldn’t be happier. To be recognised both by colleagues and the franchisor team at group offi ce is totally unexpected. I really want to thank my team, and particularly my wife, Harsha,

In true ERA style, the evening was a distinctly stylish aff air. A champagne reception and black tie gala dinner preluded the fi nal two awards of the year. Part two of the awards ceremony saw Keith McGregor crowned New Consultant of the Year. Keith joined the business in July 2015 and within his fi rst six months, being ahead of targets both in terms of clients, and fi nancials. A true team player, he is already a valued and respected member of the network. The pinnacle of the annual ceremony is the Consultant of the Year award. The winner of this coveted accolade has to not only achieve, but surpass targets and demonstrate exceptional performance – all while supporting follow consultants, group offi ce and ERA as a whole. On his second win of the evening, Pritesh Patel was commended for all this, as well as being an all-round exponent of best practice and proven methods. In keeping with ERA’s ‘work hard, play

hard’ ethos, guests stayed on to enjoy a one-night-only casino, after dinner and the thrill of the fi nal award ceremony. The merriment continued well into the early hours and it’s this level of fellowship and camaraderie that ERA strives to foster and promote. “Great relationships form the foundations of our business. Bringing people together during the day to network, share knowledge, and learn from industry experts is vital to our success. But to then provide an environment in which real friendships and a spirit of togetherness can fl ourish, that’s when some real magic happens,” explained managing director, Robert Allison. The conference was a huge success and continues to showcase ERA’s collective values and successes.
