The £50,000 contract from Merseytravel has been secured by Jackson Fire and Security’s Wirral franchisee Lee Fowler. The fi rm won the contract against strong competition, and is the latest in a string of new clients to be signed up by the growing franchise.


Franchisee Lee Fowler revealed this latest tender success is prompting the company to open a second Merseyside franchise in Liverpool city centre in September. Jackson Fire and Security will maintain


suppression and detection systems within the Mersey Tunnel estate, which includes ventilation stations, various pump rooms, a control centre, offi ce accommodation, and maintenance workshops. The fi rm is also on call to attend the site if the systems are activated during an incident.
