Hellos At the beginning of the Autumn Term 2009 we said Hello to the following staff.


Mrs Rebecca Phillips Mrs Phillips is a graduate of Exeter and Oxford Brookes Universities and comes to us from Crowmarsh Gifford Primary School in Oxfordshire to teach in Year 1.


Miss Laura Burchfield Miss Burchfield arrived to cover Mrs Rafiq’s maternity cover in 3T. She has taught at Tredworth Infant school in Gloucestershire before relocating to the Midlands.


Mrs Emma Sale Mrs Sale is a self employed language teacher with Qualified Teacher Status and has come to teach French to Years 1 and 2. She currently teaches in a number of independent senior and junior schools.


Mr Rod Davies Mr Davies, the Estates Manager, is a Health and Safety expert, bringing a much needed wealth of experience from educational establishments having previously run the estates, security and transport provision for three sites across Herefordshire and Worcestershire.


Mrs Amandeep Bhandal Mrs Bhandal has the new title of School Nurse. She has been an SRN since 2001 working in the South Staffordshire PCT. She lectures to nursing students at the BCU and works in the holidays in the Emergency Department


at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.


Miss Aasimah Altaf Miss Altaf is the ICT Technician. She has a BSc (Hons) in Computer Networks and Security, from Birmingham University.


Miss Shauna McConnell Miss McConell is the Office Assistant and returns to work after being a full time parent. She has previously worked in the Woolwich Building Society and as an Administrative Clerk at the Halifax Building Society.


Mrs Allison Willis Mrs Willis is the afternoon Receptionist in the Front office. Before taking a break to be a full time parent she was an Office Administrator at Isotherm and a Network Administrator at Barker Bretnell.


Mrs Elaine Sabell Mrs Sabell is the Pre-Prep Receptionist and a qualified Teaching Assistant who covered Miss Claire Neville’s maternity leave. She worked at the Priory School for 2 years as a mentor to a child with specific educational needs.


Mrs Rita Patel Mrs Patel is a Management Accountant and works part time in the Bursary helping to process invoices and payments.
