Gain a real qualification All apprenticeships are at least 12 months long and lead to a national qualification, such as BTEC or City & Guilds, that is respected by employers around the world. There are three entry levels: Intermediate, Advanced and Higher (degree) level.
Secure your future After finishing, the majority of apprentices – about two-thirds – stay

with the same employer. According to research, a third of all former apprentices had received a promotion within 12 months of finishing, and of those in work, three-quarters reported taking on more responsibility in their job.
Indeed, employers think qualified apprentices are 15% more employable than those with other qualifications, according to ICM Employers Research in 2013.
