The latest addition to the Evertz multiviewer product line is being launched at IBC. The 7867VIPM series is a compact multi-image display processor available in two sizes: 8 inputs and 16 inputs, each with up to 2 outputs (DVI, SDI or GLINK). The VIPM inputs are auto- sensing composite analogue, SD, HD, and 3Gbps (SMPTE 424M) and have the ability to bring in discrete audio. Each VIPM input can be displayed in any size, position or aspect ratio on any display. Evertz claims input


reproduction is of the ‘best quality’ as it borrows the latest in video processing technology from the company’s conversion products. The series is VistaLINK- enabled, offering remote monitoring, control and configuration capabilities via Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP). The VIPM series are hot- swappable devices, which can be populated in an Evertz 3RU 7800 multi-frame chassis with an option for redundant power supplies.
