ith the summer of sport already in full swing, with the highs and lows of EURO 2012 and Wim- bledon still fresh in everyone’s

The many new build and renovation

projects we have covered in PanStadia over the last few years are finally earning their wings; hopefully bringing feelings resembling those of a teacher watching their students graduate with flying grades, rather than those of watching a baby tak- ing its first, very wobbly, few steps. By the time this edition of PanStadia hits most of your desks, London 2012 will be well underway and talk will then turn to

the next batch of students waiting in the wings, from Sochi 2014, the FIFA World Cup™ 2014 in Brazil, the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil, Glasgow 2018 Common- wealth Games, the FIFA World Cup 2018™ in Russia, and so on. This issue will be dis- tributed at IAVM’s VenueConnect, Leaders Sport Summit

As for PanStadia, we've taken on a new member team, Ben Skidmore, who will be responsible for advertising sales in the USA. In addition, we will be producing our third 220-page special anniversary edition in November, ready for distribution at the Soc- cerex Global Convention, AMSTERDAM 2012, and all of the other events as listed below. So hopefully between all of these events, myself and the team can meet up with many of you to discuss the latest stadia trends, your new build & renovation projects, and all the new products & servic- es entering the market.

Thanks for reading and kind regards, Katie McIntyre Publishing Editor
