u KENT ISLAND, MD, Lodge held its seventh annual Elks Drug Awareness/Safety Day, which featured displays that were set up by more than 60 agencies, including the military, law enforcement agencies, and emergency services units. More than 450 people attended the event, during which the Maryland, Delaware and District of Columbia Elks Association announced the finalists for the 2010 state Enrique Camarena Award, which recognizes law enforcement officers for excellence in combating drug abuse.
