Lake Taneycomo, MO, Lodge held a Heroes Dinner and treated 32 emergency services personnel to a meal. At the event, lodge members gave each of the emergency services personnel a certificate of appreciation and gave certificates of appreciation to representatives of eight local police, fire, and emergency medical services departments. Cedar Grove, NJ, Lodge held a Community Pancake Breakfast, which more than 125 people attended, and raised $625 for

In other news, the lodge, with the help of scouts from lodge-sponsored Boy Scout Troop No. 65, held a Pasta Night fund-raiser and raised $300 to send holiday care packages to US troops serving overseas. In more news, lodge members attended a fund-raiser for the family of Joey Pluchino, who has been in a coma for more than a decade. The lodge donated a Ping-Pong table and a foosball table to the fund-raiser’s tricky tray auction and also donated $1,500 toward the Pluchino family’s medical expenses.

Boulder City, NV, Lodge hosted a Court of Honor Ceremony for new Eagle Scouts Zac and Colton Schulz, of


lodge-sponsored Boy Scout Troop No. 7, and presented each of them with a certificate and a US flag. For his Eagle Scout Project, Colton repaired several structures at the baseball fields at Veterans Memorial Park and per- formed some needed maintenance on the fields. Zac’s Eagle Scout Project consisted of elevating two planters at the Nevada Veterans Nursing Home to make it easier for veterans in wheelchairs to work on them.
