Jackson, NJ, Lodge held its annual Special-Needs Poker Run and Pig Roast fund-raiser, which more than 120 motorcycle riders participated in, and raised $3,000 for the lodge Special-Needs Children’s Committee. Woodbridge, NJ, Lodge held a solemn ceremony, which was attended by 50 Elks and the mayor of Woodbridge, to commemorate the victims of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.


Deming, NM, Lodge held a Duck Race Kickoff Breakfast fund-raiser, which about 100 people attending the Great American Duck Race of Deming attended, and raised about $300 for lodge charities.


Farmington, NM, Lodge donated a $1,000 grant from the New Mexico Elks Association to help pay to train a service dog to assist Kimberly Moore, who suffers from epilepsy.
