North Oakland, MI, Lodge members gave a large home-baked sheet cake to ten veterans, as well as approximately 20 other residents, living at the Poh Regional Medical Center.


Dakota County, MN, Lodge members visited the Hastings Veterans Home and treated more than 150 veterans to dinner. The lodge also donated more than $200 worth of fishing equipment to the home.


Rochester, MN, Lodge members staffed a booth at a local grocery store and raised $2,750 in donations for Southeast Minnesota Honor Flight, which provides WW II veterans with all-expenses-paid trips to Washington, DC, to see the National World War II Memorial and other monuments.


South Coast District, CA, lodge members waited at the San Diego International Airport to greet and assist 75 veterans attending the National Veterans Summer Sports Clinic in San Diego and their families. The National Veterans Summer Sports Clinic is an annual event that gives disabled veterans the opportunity to compete in water sports, track-and-field events, and cycling competitions. Braintree, MA, Lodge, with the help of members of a VFW ladies auxiliary, held its third annual Veterans Cookout and treated more than 50 veterans from the Massachusetts Soldiers Home–Chelsea and the New England Center

Greenview, MO, Lodge donated one- year subscriptions to the national USA Today and local Lake Sun Leader newspapers to the Lake of the Ozarks VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Osage Beach.


Lake of the Ozarks, MO, Lodge donated $400 to the West Central Missouri Veterans Assistance League to provide soft-serve ice cream to veterans living at the Missouri Veterans Home Warrensburg.
