Hamilton, NJ, Lodge held a Children’s Halloween Party, which 65 children from the community attended, and treated attendees to snacks, music, and games. Lodge members also awarded prizes to the three children with the best costumes. In other news, lodge members invited 12 children with special needs and their families to attend the lodge’s annual Family Picnic and treated them to food, games, prizes, and musical entertainment by a DJ.

Brick, NJ, Lodge members attended a Court of Honor Ceremony for new Eagle Scout Denis Mailloux and presented him with a certificate. For his Eagle Scout Project, Mailloux reconditioned and repainted the outside doors of the Laurelton fire- house and repainted the firehouse’s parking lot.


Brigantine, NJ, Lodge, with the help of scouts from Girl Scout Troop No. 16537 and volunteers from the Kids for South Jersey Cancer Fund, held its annual Bayfest fund-raiser and raised $30,000 for lodge charities. The lodge also donated more than $650 to Troop No. 16537 and nearly $600 to the South Jersey Cancer Fund to thank their volunteers for their help.


Greater Cape May, NJ, Lodge members presented New Jersey State Elks Association scholarships worth $600 each to students Hannah DiBruno, Kayleigh LaMania, Nicholas Lanza, and Phillip Sylvestor. In addition, lodge members treated Lanza and his parents to dinner.

In more news, the lodge held its annual Special Children’s Charity Ball and presented a $500 savings bond and a number of gift cards to the family of poster child Jaylyn Dubs.


Howell, NJ, Lodge held its annual Soccer Shoot, in which 50 children ages 13 and younger participated, and gave a T-shirt to each participant. Pictured giving contestant Sean Ennis his T-shirt is lodge member Suzanne Tsoukalis.


Marlton, NJ, Lodge held a candlelight Prayer Service to honor the memory of the victims of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.


North District, NJ, and Northeast District, NJ, lodges donated $25,000 to the Passaic County Elks Cerebral Palsy Center Adult Training and Medical Day Care Program to help


provide therapy services to 50 adults with disabilities.


Old Bridge, NJ, Lodge donated $1,000 to the Old Bridge Township Board of Education to help provide reading materials to young people.


Rahway, NJ, Lodge held a Spaghetti Dinner fund-raiser, which 35 people
