LATEST CELEB IS A TRUE IKON Kino Flo –

Chauvet Lighting BY DAVID FOX

The fi rst of a new family of lights from Kino Flo, the IP65-rated Celeb Ikon 6, is based around “a powerful new LED engine that offers near-perfect daylight and tungsten colour space spectrums”, according to the company.

Frieder Hochheim, Founder, Kino Flo, said: “Kino Flo always had unmatched colour science and now it is near perfect.” Where most daylight and

tungsten colour spectrums have a blue or red spike, the Celeb family broadens and extends the spike in those respective colour spaces without mixing a variety of colours to obtain that broad spectrum of white light. It uses a new RGB-CW-WW LED engine that provides full power not only to all white points, but to all colour points. The LED system includes two greatly improved full-spectrum white sources to deliver the broadest spectrum of quality white light. The 2x1 600W Ikon 6 will be joined by the 4x1 1200W Ikon12, and all fi xtures in the range will
