EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE Eluvio
BY KEVIN EMMOTT
With a focus on innovation rather than brute force, Eluvio’s Content Fabric and Application Suite is a content distribution and storage protocol that aims to transform the distribution and monetisation of premium video and digital media. Unlike traditional methods, distribution is achieved with no file copies, no egress and infinite remonetisation options for premium video and media.
It provides ultra-low latency global distribution of high-frame-rate broadcast transport streams, with SRT outputs of less than 500ms globally. It does this using standard internet and the Content Fabric in addition to direct-to-consumer HLS/DASH distribution – all from the same single source object. Eluvio says this offers broadcasters cost savings and consolidation over satellite distribution.
EPCR TV brings an enhanced experience to fans thanks to Eluvio’s full-feature platform
It allows OTT to consumer (D2C) and direct distribution to affiliates (B2B) to be distributed globally from a single feed with low latency. It also offers built-in authorisation, windowing, end-to-end encryption, analytics and data-driven personalisation.

TINY VISION MIXER FITS IN SPORTSBOX
BHV/L2Tek BY DAVID FOX
BHV is showing the first production units of its ultra- compact SportsBox four-channel vision mixer on the L2Tek stand. The remote vision mixer and picture processor measures just 17x22x3cm but can deliver full-scale performance. It has four 12G-SDI inputs that support 4K/4:2:2 video and embedded audio. It is designed for demanding environments, such as use in a competitor’s vehicle in motorsport, and can simultaneously transport all four video channels over a single baseband link – such as COFDM – providing a gallery preview of four cameras per vehicle.
BHV’s SportsBox handles four 12G- SDI channels in a compact package
BHV CTO, Bill Garrett, said: “More sponsors are demanding visibility in sports coverage and that means 4K is a necessity. Previously, 4K meant cumbersome installations that were often rejected by the sporting bodies. Now BHV offers switching and processing, including PiP, in a compact, field-ready unit weighing just a few hundred grams.” 10.B10
