It can be used to accelerate digital transformation by driving universal automation of business processes, such as content and workfl ow management, intra-facility connectivity or system monitoring and control. AI agents developed using the

platform can autonomously plan, reason, collaborate, act and learn on their own. The platform also provides Agent Ops functionalities for alignment with business key performance indicators through compliance, performance and cost management practices. Narendra Naidu, Group Head of Data & AI, Atos, said: “With the Atos Polaris AI platform, we are driving the automation of automation, shifting the paradigm towards fully autonomous agents for software engineering and business processes, and making agentic AI a

The JPEG XS SDK from Fraunhofer is now available for MPEG-TS, ST 2110 and IPMX. It provides development kits for CPUs (Intel, AMD, ARM) and GPUs (Nvidia), as well as containerised solutions including Holoscan for media support. The company’s JPEG- XS SDK is currently integrated in products from IHSE, Comprimato, Nvidia, Nablet, Mainconcept and Telestream. Using IP transport standards to achieve almost real-time performance, the JPEG-XS

codec is designed to enhance high-speed, high-performance video data transmission for both professional production and collaborative post workfl ows. The codec recently won a team

of researchers at Fraunhofer IIS the Joseph von Fraunhofer Prize 2025 for outstanding technology with its features to realise low- latency transmission over IP for production and contribution. The jury said that the Fraunhofer IIS team had “developed a pioneering standard for resource-effi cient real-time transmission of high-quality video data that has already been implemented in devices from various manufacturers”. 8.B80
