The ProArt display range has been extended by two models designed for video production and post-production: the 15.6in PA16USV and the 31.5in PA32QCV 6K HDR monitor. The PA16USV UHD (3840x2160) is designed for on-set colour grading, production workfl ow management and on-set review or focus pulling. It features an IPS display that supports HDR10 (400-nits peak brightness), factory-calibrated 100% sRGB and Rec.709 colour gamut and 12G-SDI connectivity. This allows for uncompressed 4K video playback at up to 60p. HDMI and USB-C ports are also included, along with 170º viewing angles horizontally and vertically. Additionally, the display
automatically adjusts brightness to match lighting conditions. The PA32QCV IPS panel, with
a resolution of 6016x3384, is designed for video editing and colour grading. It is compatible with Windows and Mac computers and features Thunderbolt 4 (96W) connectivity, DisplayPort, HDMI, speakers and a USB hub. The panel supports 98% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB colour gamuts, delivering HDR10 with a peak brightness of 600 nits and a contrast ratio of 3000:1. LuxPixel anti-glare technology minimises refl ections and a preset is included to match its colour performance to macOS computers.
An integrated KVM means users can control two computers simultaneously in picture-in-picture or picture-by-picture modes from a single mouse and keyboard connected via the monitor. 11.B34

Epsilon One from Blueshift Technologies is a precise optical test system that optimises and enhances camera checkout for rental houses and addresses common challenges found in everyday camera test setups. Its motorised chart system allows for millimetric control over chart positioning. The camera mounts on a height-adjustable turret, with accessory panels, power outputs, storage shelves and a system control screen. This integrated setup facilitates faster, more repeatable and
reliable optical evaluations. It also integrates with the camera and focus control unit and includes a suite for tracking and responding to on-site material requests. A key innovation is its hybrid chart design, which combines traditional resolution patterns with an electronic ink display for customisable visual test confi gurations, such as grids for distortion analysis, frame leaders and steadiness checks. sports at f5.6, f8 or even f11, where shallow depth of fi eld is pretty much impossible. But, if they want to match the look to
cameras with bigger sensors down on the pitch, they have to shoot almost wide open, which is diffi cult to focus at the long end of these huge zooms. The new Novel Look lens unit fi ts in the
wheel containing the main optics and the 2x extender optics (in the space designed for a 1.5x extender). It allows users to shoot
wide open but still have the ability to easily maintain focus on their subject while the background becomes nicely soft. It won’t look exactly like a large sensor, but it offers a similar character. It retains the sharpness in the centre of the image, but many of the anomalies Canon’s engineers had worked hard to remove were allowed back into the edge of the image, to achieve this ‘Novel Look’. 11.C41
