EXPANDING THE FLEXIVA GX RANGE GatesAir

The Flexiva GX air-cooled FM
solid-state transmitter family provides FM analogue broadcasters with
an ultra-compact transmission platform. Introduced at IBC last year in 5kW and 10kW versions, GatesAir has now expanded the line with 50W and 100W models. Using the latest solid-state LDMOS technology, Flexiva GX’s compact 5RU chassis provides broadcasters with FM transmission solutions up to 10kW that deliver an overall efficiency rating up to 76%. GatesAir says this is made possible through the Flexiva GX’s design, enhanced by GatesAir’s third-generation PowerSmart high- efficiency transmitter architecture. The series also supports modular,

redundant transmitter designs with hot-swappable power supplies. The transmitters provide auto-switching inputs, with dual AES (including AES192), dual composite and analogue left/right audio inputs. Flexiva GX transmitters support N+1 configurations, enabling large national network operators to build flexible and consolidated transmission sites that meet stringent uptime requirements. Options include a GPS receiver to support SFN functionality, and GatesAir’s Intraplex IP Link 100e module. 8.C82

Three new NDI|HX 120fps cameras have been introduced by Aida Imaging: the PTZ- NDI3-X20, HD-NDI3-120 and HD-NDI3-IP67. Each camera features a 1/2.8in Sony CMOS sensor, which can capture up to 1080p 120fps on both NDI|HX and HDMI at the same time (except the Ethernet-only HD-NDI3-IP67). This makes the camera useful for fast-motion production that requires live replays on the spot via Ethernet or HDMI.

The PTZ-NDI3-X20 has a 20x optical zoom and will also feature auto tracking, which will allow the camera to automatically follow the talent. The camera is PoE+ capable. The HD-NDI3-120 features a smaller PoV form factor for discreet placement, making it a useful live-replay camera. The HD-NDI3-IP67 takes that same level of production, but with an IP67 rating, allowing it to be taken outdoors and withstand harsher environments. 12.H78
