Among the noteworthy additions to enCaption 5 is a comprehensive caption editor, empowering users to review and refine offline or previous live transcriptions with ease.


enCaption 5 has expanded its capabilities significantly, now supporting both live and pre-recorded content in an array of 48 languages. Leveraging a combination of machine learning, advanced speech-to- text conversion and grammatical structure analysis, the system delivers unparalleled accuracy while maintaining remarkably low latency. MediorNet HorizoN, a hybrid processing platform that Riedel Communications claims blurs the boundary between SDI and IP, is being launched at IBC. MediorNet HorizoN includes a


wide range of video processing capabilities, such as up/down/ cross conversion, SDR-HDR conversion and colour correction. It straddles the boundary between traditional SDI-based and ST2110 infrastructures with its dense array of SDI/ST2110 gateways. Within a single rack unit, it can have 16 independent and
