video quality assurance tools. Each product leverages the IMAX SVS for measuring the end- viewer experience. Vikram Arumuilli, GM, Streaming and Consumer Technology and SVP, IMAX, said: “We’re here to help streamers and broadcasters strengthen the content creator-to- consumer device bond, and we have the tech to back it up.” 3.C67

Debuting from Vislink at IBC is the WMT LiveLink, a bonded cellular encoder for all mobile camera applications from news to sports to critical live events. Based on Mobile Viewpoint’s technology, it can deliver 4:2:2, 10-bit HEVC video encoding up to 4K resolutions, while its small size makes it easy to mount to an ENG camera. With support for up to four diversity public cellular connections, in addition to WiFi, Starlink satellite support and public internet, LiveLink provides “market-leading” bonding connectivity. The device interfaces with Vislink’s Private 5G connectivity solution – allowing high data rate connectivity even in heavily populated environments. LiveLink also provides 10-bit

Luma optimisation, which is required for HDR. Other features include camera control, a direct audio link to the camera operators and multi-camera/transmitter synchronisation, offering benefi ts to users in the fi eld as well as those stationed at the broadcast centre. 1.C51
