Japanese broadcaster NHK is demonstrating its groundbreaking video summarisation technology, enabling users to effortlessly extract key highlights and moments from hours of footage. This cutting- edge AI-driven system streamlines content management and delivers
on the promise of enormous effi ciency gains in production. Korea’s KBS, meanwhile, is
presenting Vvertigo, an AI-powered solution that dynamically crops HD perspectives from wide-angle 8K signals. This technology not only helps to reduce the number of cameras that need to be placed, but also enables a quicker reaction to the unexpected. Finnish national broadcaster Yle’s focus is on Orter, which it says is a game-changer in pre-visualising television shows, movies and events. Utilising Unreal Engine, this tool offers a dynamic and
immersive environment for content creators to conceptualise and refi ne their ideas, unlocking a new realm of storytelling potential. NVIDIA’s Opus, an open platform for software-based media production, will also be on display. Opus empowers architects and content creators with unprecedented fl exibility and effi ciency. ENJOY FREE TRAVEL TO AND FROM IBC
IBC is once again partnering with transport operator GVB to give attendees a free transport pass they can use throughout the show. Valid from 15-18 September
inclusive, the pass allows travel on Amsterdam’s tram and metro network. This includes the Amsterdam Noord/Zuid metro line which takes just eight minutes to get from Europaplein
station directly outside the RAI to Central Station. To collect your pass, head to one of the IBC information points and have your attendee badge with you.
