Procedure: Add Eumulgin® SG into water of phase B and heat under very low mixing (to avoid foam) until complete dissolution. Add Structure® Solanace to Water and Glycerin of phase C, then mix and heat to 75°C. Continue mixing for about 5 minutes. Under mixing, add Satiaxane™ CX91 to phase C. Add B to C and heat to 75°C. Prepare A and heat to 75°C. Under rapid mixing (Rotor/Stator 3000 rpm), add A to B+C. Continue rapid mixing for about 10 minutes then cool. At about 35°C, add ingredients of D.


Properties Aspect: Yellow orange lotion pH = 7.6 ± 0.5 Viscosity Brookfield RV (spindle A, speed 5): approx. 4 400 mPa.s after 24h

Procedure: Combine Phase A ingredients and heat to 80 – 85°C. Combine Phase B ingredients and heat to 80 – 85°C. Once both phases are at temperature, add Phase B to Phase A and increase mixing speed. When emulsion is smooth, check pH and adjust if necessary. Cool with slower mixing to 45°C or under and pour into containers.


Properties Stability: Three months at room temperature, three months at 45 °C, three freeze/thaw cycles.
