Brazil - Betmotion strikes Fluminense deal Betmotion has struck a sponsorship deal with Brazil’s Fluminense FC. The sponsorship is for a 12-month period and kicked-off for Fluminense’ fixture with Bahia - a game that finished 1-0 and moved the club into 5th position in the table.
Betmotion’s brand logo will take pride of place on the famous Fluminense shirt as the ‘chest seal’. As part of the deal, Betmotion has created an exclusive page for Fluminense, where users who register with a promotional code for the club will be entitled to an exclusive bonus on their first deposit.
This latest sponsorship follows several significant deals that have seen Betmotion put pen to paper with legendary Brazilian footballer Cristiane, Brazil’s National Basketball League and UFC fighter Mackenzie Dern.
Uruguay - Rocha casino tender relaunched The Ministry of Tourism in Uruguay has opened its second call to tender for a five-star hotel casino located between the towns of La Paloma and Chu on the Rocha coast on the border with Brazil.
The announcement was made at a press conference attended by Minister Germán Cardoso and the Mayor of Rocha, Alejo Umpiérrez. The tender was first made in September last year with any companies who put forward projects last time around, which was scuppered by the pandemic, awarded five points in the scoring system.
Mr. Cardoso said: “There will be a period of 90 days in which the interested groups can present themselves to the Ministry of Tourism with their different projects for this vast area. These will be studied by a technical team. Rocha has been waiting for many years. It has been shipwrecked.”
Mayor Umpiérrez added: "Sometimes crises are opportunities. Rocha does not try to imitate any other tourist destination, but to sell its product, the Rocha product with all its profile and identity, but at a high- class level. The investors will really define the best place for their business.”
LatAM - Boongo partners with Dotworkers Booongo has partnered with Latin American platform provider Dotworkers in a deal that will significantly boost its footprint in the region. The agreement will see Booongo’s portfolio of slot content, including Dragon Pearls and Aztec Sun, added to Dotworkers’ igaming solution.
Under the terms of the deal, Booongo will also supply its collection of gamification tools, including tournaments and the soon to be launched enhanced jackpots, designed to further engagement and improve player retention.

Mexico IGT drives lottery evolution in Mexico
International Game Technology's subsidiary, IGT México Lottery, has extended its agreement with La Lotería Nacional para la Asistencia Pública, Mexico's national lottery, to continue providing an integrated draw-based/instant ticket system, draw-based lottery terminals, a communications network, and additional lottery products and ongoing services.
Te agreement extends IGT's contract with the lottery to March 2, 2022. "For the Lotería Nacional, the extension of the contract with IGT contributes to the certainty and security that we offer to our clients in a year of great challenges for all of us, which has also been a year of transition and internal transformation," said Mario Caballero Luna, LOTENAL Chief of Advisors.
“For more than three decades, IGT has provided our Lottery customer in Mexico with the expertise,
technology, and services it has needed to generate results, which ultimately benefit social and health programmes," said Jay Gendron, IGT Chief Operating Officer, Lottery.
“As LOTENAL navigates this transformational period, IGT's innovative, reliable, and proven technology will continue to be a key driver of its evolution.”
IGT's ongoing services to LOTENAL include lottery game transactions and instant ticket distribution across 8,200 terminals nationwide. It also includes continuous development of new B2B retail channels; installation, repair, maintenance and monitoring of its total base of lottery terminals; retailer training; field service; call center operations and hotline management; a fixed-odds sports betting retail network; and marketing support to further enhance LOTENAL's overall product and game portfolio.
Greek lottery and betting company Intralot is selling its 20 per cent shareholding in Intralot de Peru to Nexus group via NG Capital Partners II and its wholly owned subsidiary NG Entertainment for $21m.
Greek lottery and betting company Intralot is selling its 20 per cent shareholding in Intralot de Peru to Nexus group via NG Capital Partners II and its wholly owned subsidiary NG Entertainment for $21m.
Intralot will continue providing its gaming technology and support services to Intralot de Peru SA until 2024. Intralot de Peru is a lottery and sports betting company located in Peru with a gross income in 2020 of approximately US$1bn. Intralot de Peru’s game portfolio includes several lottery brands and products such as Tinka, Kabala, Gana Diario, and sports betting products such as Te Apuesto and Ganagol.
Te company said: “Intralot has reached a binding agreement with Nexus Group in Peru to sell its entire stake of 20 per cent in Intralot de Peru SA, an associate of Intralot Group, which is consolidated through the Equity method, for a cash consideration of US$21m. In addition, the company has signed a three-year extension of its current contract with Intralot de Peru SA through 2024, to continue to provide its gaming technology and support services. Closing of this transaction is subject to the completion of certain condition precedents standard for this kind of transactions. Te company will follow- up with further announcements on the definite shares transfer and possible timing of cash inflow, as required by regulation.

Inspired Entertainment has entered into an exclusive agreement with Te CAGE Companies and its subsidiary, CAGE Sports BV, to offer Inspired's virtual sports in CAGE's retail outlets and interactive channels throughout the Caribbean. CAGE is a prominent video lottery and video gaming terminal operator in the Caribbean and South America.
Inspired will provide its V-Play Plug & Play online and mobile product solution to CAGE's interactive channels through online platforms and its best-in- class virtual sports to retail venues throughout the Caribbean starting in 2021.

Zitro Digital has announced the integration of its games with Paraguay gaming site,
bplay.com, of the ‘7 Saltos Resort’ casino in Paraguay, belonging to LatAM operator, the Boldt Group.
