COMPLIANCE TRUNARRATIVE

TruNarrative: Whose telling stories?

TruNarrative helps online operators to comply with social responsibilty, age verificaiton and AML, whilst nurturing VIP customers. G3 speaks to TruNarrative’s Adam Doyle about the process

Could you give an overview of the platform you provide for online operators?

We enable operators to comply with responsible gambling requirements, age verification, eKYC and anti-money laundering regulations, whilst nurturing genuine and VIP customers.

Adam Doyle Head of Gaming, TruNarrative

Adam Doyle is a specialist in identity, risk and compliance within the regulated global Gaming sector. Adam has had a mixture of experience, heading up the Gambling Division for both GBG and Now TruNarrative, but also held a role as a Sales Director for the platform provider Bede Gaming, giving him a good understanding from both sides of the business.

For over a decade he has worked closely with operators, regulators and industry stakeholders to help with best practice and ensure innovation in data and technology is built to meet regulatory requirements and industry challenges.

Working for TruNarrative his key focus is ensuring operators are able to meet Identity, KYC, AML, fraud, self-exclusion and responsible gambling requirements as easy and seamless as possible.

Our technology brings together our client’s own data and data from third party suppliers to deliver risk visibility and make automated decisions. Tis process is managed by our no code customer journey builder and our intuitive case referral management system. We deliver the TruNarrative platform and its App store of third parties via a single API.

Operators can customise their customers journeys dependant on region, risk level & even product or promotion. By removing the need for technical coding, new customer journeys can be built in minutes and changes made on the fly rather than days, as is the case with many legacy solutions where extensive tech resource is often required.

We offer a seamless experience for players and operators alike, increasing acquisition rates, reducing false positives & operational costs. We give operators the ability to monitor customer transactions for AML, KYC and responsible gambling all within a single platform.

How do you differentiate from traditional suppliers?

We differ from traditional suppliers as we are data agnostic with 51 third party providers and we are adding more all the time. We have done these integrations, so operators don’t have to. We remove the challenges and technical resources requirements associated when integrating multiple data sources, allowing operators to stay agile and keeping costs of ownership low.

P118 NEWSWIRE / INTERACTIVE / MARKET DATA

Even if you already have an agreement with a data supplier, once our API is plugged in you can bring your existing contract and decision on the data in the TruNarrative platform.

Behavioural monitoring – how does it work?

Te platform watches activity on the account; onboarding, deposits, withdrawals; with this data, we can then monitor the behaviour of a player, such as the deviations in a player’s betting pattern over a period of time. For example, a player may have been consistently placing £10 bets every Saturday but has recently started making £100 bets. In that instance, the operator’s policy may be to conduct an internal review.

We are the only platform that provides onboarding, transactional & behavioural monitoring through a single API and user interface. Operators simply connect to our API and plug in their company policy, rules and define the risk levels.

Another interesting feature of the platform worth mentioning is the ability for operators to geolocate players and freeze accounts. For example, should a player be gambling after 11pm on a Friday or Saturday evening, they could be under the influence of alcohol and operators can choose to flag this and take necessary action.

Similarly, abnormal betting behaviour can refer a customer to information about safer gambling such as GAMSTOP .

How flexible is the system to regulatory change?
