Our efforts to offer high- quality work experience placements were


rewarded when we were awarded gold level Work Experience Quality Standard accreditation by Fair Train.


Our hard-working volunteers got the chance to put their feet up during a series of afternoon tea events held to thank them for their efforts.


The fantastic care provided by nurses, midwives, healthcare assistants and allied health professionals across the Trust was celebrated at the annual Director of Nursing Awards.

Members of the public got the chance to take a look behind the scenes at Royal Hampshire County Hospital during an open day. The event was officially opened by former Southampton footballer Dan Harding and gave people the chance to take a behind-the-scenes tour of an operating theatre, meet a wide range of medical experts, learn how to carry out emergency first aid and much more.

We cared for the health and wellbeing of our staff with fitness classes and a range of other activities during a week-long health and wellbeing event.
