Children’s Officer Mr John Flynn has been
appointed Children’s Of- ficer for Castlelyons GAA Club replacing Michael Griffin who stepped down due to work commitments and was thanked for his contribution over the last number of years. John is a community Garda based in Cork City and has been involved with the club for some time and we wish him well.
County Convention on 11th

tion of the Cork County Board will be held at Áras Roanaithe Nemo on Sun- day 11th
December, 2016,
commencing at 2.30 pm. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be celebrated on Convention afternoon at 1.30pm in memory of all deceased members. It is hoped that the officers of the Club and delegates will attend. 2017 will be a historic year as the devel- opment of Páirc Uí Chao- imh is on schedule and
due to reopen on the 18th June and the All-Weath- er Pitch on June
24th .
Congrats to the Steering Committee on their great work. The development is outstanding but 2016 could have been better in the playing fields so we hope that 2017 will be a big year for Cork.

St Ita’s chairman Ed Coleman Welcomed the large crowd in attend- ance to Gortroe Hall and gave a brief outline of St Ita’s GAA Club history. nedy and Cork Coaching Officer Kevin O’Donovan as well as all the delegates from Imokilly clubs. Secretary Michéal Ó Briain then read out the minutes of last years AGM which were adopted and gave his report for the year 2016 going through each aspect of the divisions ac- tivities during the year from games, leagues, champion- ships in hurling and foot- ball and the boards work during the year as well as a comprehensive report on the Imokilly Senior Hurl- ing team. Our Cultural Officer Dónal Ó hÉigeartaigh then gave a brief report on the activities during the year outlining some of the problems facing clubs with
