Whiskey has been distilled at Midleton Distillery since 1825. As well as being known for its much loved whiskey brands like Jameson, Powers, Redbreast, Green Spot and of course Midleton Very Rare, the distillery is also home to one of Ireland’s most impressive visitor centres – The Jameson Experience. We have the bricks and mortar in place, but we now need a team of down-to-earth, enthusiastic and charismatic people to take-up the following vacant roles:
1. Jameson Brand Home Ambassadors – a diverse job that will see you engaging with our valued Jameson fans throughout the entire visitor centre – tour guiding, whiskey tasting, whiskey shop and restaurant.
2. Jameson Bartenders/Mixologists – an exciting role in which you’ll make Jameson look and taste fantastic using your engaging cocktail-making & shaking skills.
Our visitors love Jameson and it’s our goal to ensure they leave the distillery having had a wonderful Jameson experience; your ability to interact with our visitors in a confident professional manner guarantees we achieve this goal.
Fluent English is essential, with the ability to speak German, French or another foreign language seen as beneficial.
As part of the selection process, you will be invited to a short online interview to help us get to know you. Then, when we meet, you will be asked to make a short presentation about a topic which you are passionate about; we might even ask you to make us a drink!
