Youghal Skies Ablaze for Mercy Hospital Foundation FITZGERALD

It was a magical evening in Blackwater Heights Youghal on Saturday last when, at 6pm on a dry win- ter evening, the spectacu- lar lights were switched on
at the home of Pad and
Margaret Carey to raise funds for The Mercy Hos- pital Foundation. Young and old crowded around the house, and the streets were filled with awe struck children, parents and grandparents who gazed
in wonder at the spec-
tacle. Susan, represent- ing The Mercy Hospital Foundation, was present for the auspicious occa- sion and told The East Cork Journal that

Carey family have been wonderful supporters for
the past several years. She extended sincere
thanks
on behalf of the Founda- tion; from all those who have been helped over the years; and for the many they will help in the future. Pad and Margaret were delighted with the turnout
