Cycle with us through farmland, hills and forests as we travel along Turkey’s beautiful Turquoise Coast. We cycle around Lake Koyceyiz, visit hillside villages, and relax on the golden sands of Patara Beach. We also take a boat cruise across Fethiye Bay, visit ancient sites and savour the fresh local food.
8 day tour itinerary
Day 1 Tour starts Dalyan. Day 2 Lake Koyceyiz From Dalyan cycle around Lake Koyceyiz, visiting the market town of Koyceyiz and the village of Sultaniye, known for its thermal baths. Opportunity to visit Iztuzu beach. Day 3 Gocek and Fethiye Cycle along rural backroads past cotton fi elds and smallholdings, to Dalaman. Pedal through small villages and rolling hills, before descending to Gocek harbour. Take a boat cruise across the bay to Fethiye. Opportunity to swim. Day 4 Saklikent As we leave Fethiye we pass the ruins of ancient Telmessos and the Amyntas tombs. Cycle to Minare for lunch in a village house. Continue
on to Saklikent. Opportunity to visit Saklikent Gorge. Day 5 Sutlegen Village Transfer to the ancient Lycian city of Tlos. Optional visit to the ruins. Pedal up through the villages of Camlikoy and Yuvacik to the highland village of Sutlegen. Overnight in a village guest house. Day 6 Patara Continue cycling through the hills and descend via Islamlar to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Xanthos. Optional visit to the site. Pedal down to the coast and the village of Patara. Visit the ruins of ancient Patara, birthplace of Saint Nicholas, and the beautiful 18 km golden sand beach. Day 7 Kas Cycle along the coast via Yali Burun,

Accommodation: 5 nights standard hotel, 1 night simple hotel and 1 night basic village house. Meals: 7 breakfasts, 1 lunch and 1 dinner are included. Route and Terrain: On this tour we cycle 310 km over 6 days (an average of 52 km per day). We cycle mainly on quiet, tarmac roads. The terrain is generally hilly. However on Day 5 the day is mainly ascent – over the course of the day we climb 1288m. We have graded the route as moderate. Group size: Generally 12 to 16.
