This document summarizes panel presentations from four National Fetal-Infant Mortality Review Program (NFIMR) national conferences held in 1998, 2001, 2004, and 2007. The panels and this document were produced in partnership with the Association of SIDS and Infant Mortality Programs (ASIP). NFIMR gratefully acknowledges their contribution in the development of this topic.


Prepared by the National Fetal and Infant Mortality Review Program (NFIMR), a collaborative effort between the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (The College) and the federal Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB), Health Resources and Services Administration, US Department of Health and Human Services (Grant #U93MC00136).
