Christian Aid in Bishopton
Christian Aid Week 2012 commences Sunday 13th May, the theme is” Let’s Give Them the Tools - Help People in Poverty out of Poverty”.
We understand the uncertainty and concern regarding the current economic climate, but would ask that consideration be given to those less fortunate than ourselves in the developing world.

On Sunday 22nd April at Bishopton Community Centre, Gledstane Road, Bishopton, reigning Bishopton Princess Rebecca Mitchell handed over her crown to her successor who will be chosen from local village girls. (Unfortunately too late for the Advertizer deadline).
Girls living in Bishopton, attending Primary 7 at school, who wanted to be this year’s Bishopton Princess, were invited to attend at the Community Centre to take part in the selection process. Girls from Primaries 4, 5 and 6 also get the chance to become an attendant to the Princess.
