French Student Enjoying Finlaystone

Finlaystone Gardener, Willie Sinclair, says “We are pleased to welcome Amandine Soibinet, a nature & landscape student from France who will be volunteering with us for a while and in addition to undertaking a variety of gardening tasks will also be improving her English.”

Amandine says “I’m in the National School of Nature & Landscape in France and have come to Finlaystone to do a two month internship. For the first year we need to practice gardening and in addition, after two years in the school we have an English test. This is why I’m doing my internship here. I chose Finlaystone after looking at the ‘Garden Visit’ website and decided to come to Scotland. I’m really enjoying myself.”

Willie continues “It is a very busy time for us at present in the garden and we are always pleased to receive additional help. If anyone else would like to join us as it is a great way to keep fit, meet new friends & have a good time, they should telephone 01475 540505 or drop us an email at info@finlaystone. co.uk
