Kilmacolm Art Class Exhibition

Kilmacolm Art Class recently held a very successful exhibition in the New Community Centre.

This was a first in this venue and proved a winner! The light airy surroundings showed the work of the class to best advantage, and the venue proved popular with the public too - with many more appreciative visitors than in previous years.

We must thank the staff of the Centre for their help in ensuring that, in spite of a few early worries about access, the exhibition went very well and we received many very positive comments from visitors. Thanks also go to the Management Committee of the Centre for arranging to fit picture rails, these facilitated the hanging of our paintings and led to a much improved display.

We are hoping that next year we will have even more picture rail available including some just below the three higher windows.

Thank You So Much

Thank you very much to everyone for their kind wishes, flowers, presents and cards which I received during my recent illness.

I am now very much on the mend and grateful that so many people have taken the time to think of me. Thanks again. Doreen MacAlister (from the Cross Café) xx
