PENN STATE’S
HAPPY EGG CO. BRANCHES OUT INTO
CHILLER CABINET Following the launch of their Scotch Egg range at the start of the year, ethical egg producers The Happy Egg Co. will be launching their brand new range of deli fillers into themarket in February. Initially available in two flavours - EggMayo and Egg & Bacon, the range, says the company, demonstrates the consumer demand for free- range eggs in all egg-based products. This parallels the company, as the happy egg co. is committed to producing great tasting eggs and is always looking for ways to use and promote free- range eggs in all types of products as well as in cooking and baking too. The egg specialists say that the deli fillers are the perfect filler for sandwiches or for those packed lunches for kids and adults alike, as well as being good on a jacket potato. The fillers will be priced at £1.69 and will be available in Tesco stores nationwide.

UNILEVER’S DOING IT FOR THE GIRLS Unilever UK has revealed a new ‘For Her’ Lynx range. The launch of new variant Lynx Attract will include a limited edition female fragrance and is being supported by a £7.2 million marketing campaign across TV, digital, cinema, OOH and PR. Kieran Danaher, Lynx brand manager at Unilever UK, said: “This is a historic moment for Lynx as a brand. For the first time in our 27 year history we are launching a male and female variant at the same time. Lynx Attract will unleash the full power of the ‘Lynx Effect’ for both sexes and make the mating game doubly exciting. As a brand we’re aiming to push boundaries with creative marketing campaigns this year, and the launch of Lynx Attract is set to do just that and more. With both these scents being so seductive we’re warning men and women about the potential chaos they may cause in everyday life.” The product will be availble in retailers nationwide and is expected to retail for around £3.00.
