King’s Fine Foods are renowned purveyors of luxury products such as caviar, smoked salmon, champagne, chocolates, handmade biscuits and hampers.When they were planning the launch of their British Rapeseed Oil and Apple Balsamic Dressing, they wanted a British company to manufacture the bottle and cap as the product is being used by British Airways’ in-flight catering service. M&H Plastics were chosen for the task, and a created new tooling specifically for the 12ml PET square bottle (Ref. 4172) with a 13mm screw cap. Korsnäs has introduced Korsnäs Artisan, its new innovative lightweight cartonboard, offering what they believe to be quality luxurious packaging that also offers business and environmental
savings.Made from 100 per cent virgin fibre, Korsnäs Artisan is a specially designed multi-layered cartonboard with a light-coated top surface and an uncoated reverse side. Having anything made in India is always a challenge so I called in Bell Packaging.” The final design incorporates the use of a printed PP box with clear PET covering. The PP gives strength to the finished construction and a false bottom was created inside the pack to contain fitting kit within.
