The polar bear has impressive canines. All of the polar bear’s teeth are sharp-edged since, like all carnivores, it feeds almost exclusively on meat. The grizzly bear’s teeth are adapted to an omnivorous diet. The grizzly bear’s molars are flat for grinding. There is no difference in the number of teeth, since that is not an important characteristic relative to the difference in their respective habitats.
