5. Using Student Page 2-6b “My Games,” students will identify a game or sport they’re interested in that is rooted in the physical landscape of your community. Examples include sports like mountain climbing or kayaking, and could include competitions like drag racing or tractor pulls.
Using the instructions on the student page, and working in teams, pairs, or individually, students create a movie (or PowerPoint slide show) to explore the chosen sport and share it in the Culture Zone 02.
You may also choose to schedule a “movie day” in your classroom for students to screen their work!
