We’ve given each of our tours a comfort rating and a tour pace rating to give you a general idea about the level of activity on each tour and the standard of accommodation you will be staying in at the end of your day’s adventure.
Often you’ll stay in different styles of accommodation during your trip; so we make an average rating across the entire tour. For more details on each tour, and to see more specifi c information about where you will stay each night, please see our tour notes.
Tour Pace Relaxed
Easy paced tours with plenty of time to relax and absorb the sights and immerse yourself in the local surroundings.
Moderate
Moderately paced tours providing some busy days with plenty of experiences to enjoy, as well as time to relax along the way.
Busy
These busy tours, often with early starts and long days, will be full of experiences but also with some free time to relax.
Full On Fast paced tours move on quickly from place to place and with lots of early starts and long busy days, they’re packed with experiences.
Tour Comfort Basic
Our basic accommodation can offer the most rewarding and memorable places to stay. These are usually communal or camping style with shared facilities. Running hot and cold water may be unreliable and overall comfort levels are basic.
Simple
These are often small, family run establishments or campsites which provide a no-frills experience with adequate amenities and service standards. Sleeping arrangements are simple, sometimes with en suite facilities.
Standard
Mid-range accommodation which offers a good level of service often with other amenities such as a restaurant, bar, garden or swimming pool. Generally rooms will be comfortable with en-suite facilities.
Comfortable Hand-picked and chosen for their character, location or local importance, these properties have excellent facilities and a higher level of comfort and service.

Simply Explore Light on your pocket but not on adventure, these fun and fl exible tours let you choose how much or little you spend on activities, sightseeing and food.
