14 day tour itinerary
Day 1 Join tour Lima. Tour of the city. Days 2/3 Arequipa Fly to Arequipa. Discover the beautifully preserved colonial city, including a visit to the 500-year old Santa Catalina Convent. Days 4/5 Colca Canyon Travel the high plains of the Andes to the Mirador Cruz del Condor and search for the rare Andean Condor. Day 6 Lake Titicaca Sail along Lake Titicaca, the birthplace of the Inca civilisation and visit Indian communities on Taquile and Uros Islands. Days 7/9 Andean Explorer Travel on the Andean Explorer train
through spectacular scenery to Cusco. Explore the ancient city and visit the dramatic Sacsayhuaman Fortress. Day 10 Machu Picchu Travel to the ancient Inca ruins, known as the ‘Lost City’. Days 11/12 Sacred Valley Explore the picturesque valley. Optional whitewater rafting down the Urubamba River. Day 13 Lima Return to the capital. Day 14 Tour ends Lima.
