Join us as we explore the dramatic coastline between the two great ports of Halifax in Canada and Boston in the USA. Travelling by road and sea, we follow a rocky granite shore punctuated with coves and sandy beaches. From the serenity of Kejimkujik National Park to the bustling, cosmopolitan island of Martha’s Vineyard, we explore the main highlights of the Eastern Seaboard and Cape Cod.


14 day tour itinerary


Day 1 Join tour Halifax. Day 2 Novia Scotia Tour Novia Scotia’s famous capital, Halifax and visit the tranquil hamlet of Peggy’s Cove before driving along the coast via Lunenburg to Mahone Bay. Days 3/4 Kejimkujik National Park Visit the Fisheries Museum in the major fi shing port of Lunenburg and tour this UNESCO World Heritage town. Continue to Kejimkujik National Park and explore the forests and unspoilt wilderness. Day 5 Digby Drive to the fi shing port of Digby and take a ferry to Brier Island for hiking and optional whale

watching. Day 6 Bay of Fundy Visit the tranquil town of Anapolis and the historic site of Port Royal. Return to Digby and catch a ferry across the Bay of Fundy to St Johns to spend the night. Days 7/8 Acadia National Park Take time to explore the idyllic setting of Acadia National Park walking through forest trails or enjoy a range of optional activities including horse riding and boat trips. Day 9 Eastern Seaboard Transfer to the mainland and drive along the ‘grantite coast’ from Maine to Ogunquit, a popular retreat for America’s wealthy east-coasters.


Days 10/12 Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard Continue to Boston and take a ferry to Provincetown and Cape Cod. Over the next two days explore Cape Cod and enjoy a trip to the beautiful island of Martha’s Vineyard. There is an option to visit the historic island of Nantucket. Day 13 Boston Visit the site of the infamous Boston Tea Party and take a walk along the Freedom Trail. Day 14 Tour ends Boston.
