A stunning journey through the culture and cuisine of southwestern Turkey, this culinary adventure takes us from the historic town of Antalya, through a landscape steeped in the rich history of the country’s dramatic past. Following a trail that takes us through olive groves and cedar forests, we’ll sample traditional dishes and fi ne wines, visit ancient ruins and remote mountain villages and enjoy the hospitality and charm of one of the most culturally fascinating regions on the planet. This is an adventure that truly provides a feast for the senses, in every way imaginable.
8 day tour itinerary
Day 1 Tour starts Antalya. Day 2 Ancient sites Visit the Roman ruins of Perge and Aspendos, and Antalya Museum. At lunch we enjoy a local lunch of kofte-piyaz, while dinner is taken at the historic ‘Parlak Restaurant’. Day 3 Winery Travel towards the Beydaglari Mountains and to Elmali, visiting Lykia Winery en route. Day 4 Mountain villages We go to Elmali Museum before travelling

to the harbour town of Kas through the mountains, visiting the villages of Gombe and Gomuce, and stopping at a local tea house. Day 5 Cookery lesson Learn how to make baklava and dolma in a local restaurant. Day 6 Olive groves We drive to the village of Minare where we visit the local olive press and have the opportunity to make and sample local pancakes, before continuing to the
village of Faralya. Dinner is with a local family. Day 7 Fish market Drive to Fethiye and visit the town’s lively fi sh market, where we have the opportunity to have fresh fi sh cooked for us for lunch. Continue back to Antalya for a farewell dinner. Day 8 Tour ends Antalya.
