Join us on this classic cycle journey through the cities and rural landscapes of Vietnam and Cambodia. We travel past paddy fi elds and fruit orchards to remote villages where we experience the warm hospitality of local families. We cycle into the jungle to explore the ancient temple city Angkor and swap our bicycles for traditional boats to cruise the mighty Mekong River.


13 day tour itinerary DAILY DISTANCES


Day 1 Join tour Ho Chi Minh City. Explore the former capital Saigon. Day 2 Cu Chi Tunnels Take a bike ride through the countryside to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, an underground base for 10,000 Viet Cong troops during the war. Days 3/6 Delta explorations Cycle in the Mekong Delta region. Cruise on a sampan (fl at-bottomed boat) along narrow channels to fl oating markets and stilt villages. Enjoy traditional cuisine with local families. Days 7/8 Phnom Penh Travel by speedboat along the Mekong River into Cambodia and on to the capital. Visit the main sights


including the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and the Killing Fields. Ride to a charming island in the Mekong. Days 9/10 The Kompongs Cycle along the river to Cambodia’s third largest city - Kompong Cham. From nearby Kompong Thom follow an old logging trail to the pre-Angkorian temple at Sambor Prei Kuk. Days 11/12 Angkor Cycle into the jungle to explore this ancient temple city. Day 13 Tour ends Siem Reap.

Included Bike: We provide 18 gear Merida hybrid bikes with front suspension. Route and Terrain: On this tour we cycle 275 km over ten days (an average of 28 km per day). Our route mainly follows quiet and fl at backroads and paths with about 70% on tarmac and 30% on gravel and dirt tracks. A support vehicle accompanies the rides throughout the tour. We have graded the route as easy. Transport: Bicycle, boat and bus. Group Size: Generally 10 - 16.
