Only a short drive from Kathmandu, the Langtang Valley offers quiet trekking trails in the shadow of the Langtang Himal mountain range. This trek follows village trails to Kyangin where we spend a day soaking up the dramatic views of Langtang Liru. The high point of the trek is crossing the Laurebina La Pass (4600m) offering stunning views of the Langtang and Ganesh Himal mountain ranges.


18 day tour itinerary


Day 1 Join tour in Kathmandu. Day 2 Temples and bazaars Take a walking tour through Kathmandu’s Durbar Square. Full trek briefi ng. Days 3/4 Trek begins Drive to Syabrubensi. Trek to Gumnachowk, passing through Bamboo village. Day 5 River walk Follow the north bank of the Langtang Khola to reach Ghoda Tabela. Days 6/7 Kyangin Continue to ascend to Langtang then trek to

Kyangin. Day 8 Rest day A full day to rest and explore the village of Kyangin. Days 9/10 Thulo Syabru Retracing our steps we return to Lama before ascending to Thulo Syabru. Days 11/12 Shing Gompa Ascend to Dimsa village before continuing on to Laurebinayak. Day 13 Gosainkunda Trek through rhododendron, pine and fi r forests to Gosainkunda. Day 14 High pass Cross the Laurebina La Pass

(4600m) and descend to Phedi. Days 15/16 Trek south Begin our descent, trekking through Kutumsang and on to Chisopani. Day 17 Kathmandu After a short ascent follow an undulating trail to Sundarijal. Drive to Kathmandu. Day 18 Tour ends in Kathmandu.
