After exploring the busy fl ower markets and sights of Calcutta this rewarding trek takes us along the Singalila Ridge, following the border of India and Nepal. This region offers incredible views of the world’s third highest mountain, Kanchenjunga (8586m) as well as Everest (8848m) and Lhotse (8516m) to the east. There is also time to explore Gangtok’s monasteries and take the ‘Toy Train’ to Ghoom.

Day 1 Join tour Calcutta Day 2 City tour Visit St John’s Church and the fl ower markets. Overnight train to New Jaipalgiri. Days 3/4 Darjeeling Ride on the ‘Toy Train’ to Ghoom Monastery, visit the Himalayan Institute of Mountaineering and taste some fresh Darjeeling tea.
