Day 1 Join Kirkwall on Orkney. Day 2 Kirkwall Visit the Maes Howe Neolithic tomb, which is covered in ancient scroll. Explore the Stones of Stenness, Ring of Brodgar and Viking St. Magnus Cathedral at Kirkwall. Day 3 Skara Brae Visit the Stone Age village, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is more than 5000 years old. Walk

to the cliffs of Marwick Head and cross the causeway to the Brough of Birsay. Day 4 Island of Hoy Walk through the Berriedale Wood Valley to the famous Old Man of Hoy sea stack. Day 5 Westray Ferry to Westray. If time allows explore medieval Pierowall Church and Noltland Castle. Day 6 Papa Westray Ferry to ‘Papay’ to see the old Kirk at St


Hoy (Moaness Pier) Kirkwell Rest Day


Boniface (the oldest house in Europe). Discover seal colonies and maritime heathland at North Hill. Day 7 Noup Head Visit one of the British Isles’ largest seabird colonies. Ferry back to Orkney. Tour ends in Kirkwall.
