Enjoy walks in the dramatic scenery of the rugged Rocky Mountains. We visit stunning national parks including Glacier, Jasper and Banff and discover unspoilt views of jagged mountain peaks, glaciers and waterfalls as we explore on foot.
13 day tour itinerary
Day 1 Join tour Calgary. Days 2/3 Kananaskis Drive to Kananaskis country and hike the Lookout Trail, through forest and up to a lookout point that offers stunning panaromas across the park. Optional scenic helicopter fl ight. Days 4/5 Kootenay NP Transfer to Kootenay National Park for two days walking. Optional visit to Radium Hot Spring, Canada’s largest hot springs pool. Days 6/7 Glacier NP Head to Glacier National Park, also known

as the ‘Crown of the Continent’. This stunning national park is home to around 50 glaciers and we will view some of them as we explore on foot. Days 8/9 Yoho NP Drive to Yoho National Park. Walk the Iceline Trail to the spectacular Takkakkaw Falls. Optional activities include rafting or a visit to the Grizzly Bear reserve. Day 10 Icefi eld Parkway Enjoy a scenic drive along the Icefi eld Parkway. Explore the Columbia Icefi elds, one of the largest accumulations of ice and snow

south of the Arctic Circle. Optional ice walk. Days 11/12 Banff NP Hike the Mount Fairview Trail for magnifi cent views of Lake Louise, one of Canada’s most photographed natural features. Discover the beauty of Banff National Park visiting Tunnel Mountain, Lake Minnewanka and Bow Falls. Day 13 Tour ends Calgary Airport.
